Let SGR maintain health protocol inside the train

Let SGR maintain health protocol inside the train

WHO first declared COVID-19 to be a public health emergency of international concern on 30 January 2020 and subsequently declared it a pandemic on 11 March 2020. The first confirmed case in Kenya was reported on 13th March 2020 which led to the government closing all institutions and people working from home.
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an acute respiratory infection caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2.
Therefore the ministry of health has recommended wearing of masks, keeping social distance and washing of hands always.
In the SGR train there is washing of hands and wearing of masks but the elephant in the room is that there is no social distance between the passengers as they are booked three per seat and opposite there are three passengers with no social distance.6 people sit close to one another for a journey of 3 hours and some are tempted to remove masks. When a person boards the night train and sleeps, the seats are not tailored for a person to relax and they are three in a seat making the journey uncomfortable.
Let SGR management improve and reduce on the people who board the compartment as over 60 people are cramed in one compartment till other people chose to sit down or stand all the way.
This may increase infection of Covid -19 in the Country. The train carries over 2000 people per trip. The management has to choose life over profit.
