The kakamega twin case has shaken parents to the core
Series of events have unfolded after Sharon Mitekwa and Melon Lutenyo the Kakamega twins embarked on a journey to seek the truth behind uncanny resemblance.Friends saw their resemblance in Facebook and told them.This led to them meeting which brought out this twin saga.Although the parents have forgiven Kakamega general hospital the government should take up this matter and do a through investigation to unearth the root cause of the problem and if there were other cases like this.Let the officer incharge of the hospital at that time and the sister incharge or those who worked during that time record a statement to unravel this mystery.They were born days apart but one parent was given twins who were not related by blood.Many parents are unhappy over this saga.What about if they switched the children also? What if the children we are bringing up are not our children? In a foreign country there was a case of a person who confessed of killing sick people in hospitals.This man was a sadist.Even here in Kenya we have sadists.How can you add a parent two children one who is not theirs and it does not worry you.Corruption started long time ago and in hospitals.lf it would have been a teacher's mistake, parents organizations would have come out strongly to condemn the act.But no parent association has come out to condemn this act done to this twins as being bad.This is a trauma to the parents who need intense counselling and our members of parliament especially women should pool together some funds to support these girls.They need to study in a stress free environment.Let no parent go through what these parents and girls went through.But justice must prevail
