Corpus Christ is a Celebration of what happens in the real world
Today Catholic celebrated the solemnity of the most Holy
Body and Blood of Christ.Today’s feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood
of Jesus constantly calls us beyond ourselves to sacrificial love for
others. On this day also Catholics remember the last supper and how
Jesus fed his disciples. In Kitale diocese the priest summed this feast
as symbolyzing oneness and sharing. He said Jesus is food, orderliness
and peace. This being the feast of order, meaning people should eat
together the same food. But this feast also has lessons. When people go to
eat, instead of eating once,Kenyans go for the second helping when they
are given food ? eg in weddings, parties, gatherings and funerals? Didn't
the Pokot fight over food when the were brought food by the Chinese?
The feast also has a meaning to our leaders.Do they not fight and steal
to be the richest untill the Governor of central bank had to demonetized
the notes because some people were hoading money? Look at the
compensation of SGR,have people not asked to be compensation while they
don't deserve? Kenyan should come of age and realize the presence of
God in their lives. What we have if we use it properly is enough for
everyone. But some people would like to have more than others. If we were
passengers in SGR won't some people alight anyywhere without waiting for
the destination? Kenyans should not start with AOB but start with
agendas to push the Country
forward. Politicians should not justify their mistakes but experience informed decisions. Those who do good are not remembered but our heroes are thieves and robbers who are celebrated and elected as
leaders to continue with plundering agendas.
