Aspirants who contested in areas where violence was witnessed should pay damages
Siasa mbaya maisha mabaya. This quote was said by former President moi in one of his meetings.lt is coming back to haunt Kenya. It is a high time politician restrained and cooled down their supporters because what we are witnessing on T V is really bad and horrible. There was a delay of ballot papers from being delivered in various counties but what supporters were seen doing is against the spirit of patriotism (Uzalendo). How can a person hurl a desk or table in the air and smash it on another breaking the furniture because his/her party delayed to bring ballot papers or they were brought few? Some of the supporters look drunk. Let law enforcing agents take over these nominations or otherwise when schools open the children of poor parents will have nowhere to sit and write on. Although schools are designated as polling centres by the IEBC, let IEBC reserve some money to compensate schools whose properties and furniture were damaged by supporters and later on fine the politician and warn them with their utterances.
