  WHY ARE DEPUTIES GOVERNORS REVOLTING?

It all started with Kisumu deputy governor Ruth Odinga who has declared that she will challenge her boss for the governorship post. The latest is deputy governor of Mombasa who not only defected to another party but is also vying for senatorial seat of Mombasa County.Turkana deputy governor Peter Lokoel  will be a running mate for senator john munyes who is challenging his boss in the Governorship post of Turkana.And Embu deputy governor Dorothy nditi has announced that she will not support Governor Martin Wambura's re-election bid.Mrs Nditi said she will campaign  for senator Lenny Kivuti's her boss rival, gubernatorial bid and vie for the woman rep seat. What really happened between the governors and their deputy during the time they were working under them? Did they end up teaching them more politics?  Were they treated right or were not given enough space as deputy governors? Were they utilized on their jobs? Were they given any incentives by the governors after the governors won the Governor seat? We recall Governor Mutua and his deputy Kiala who had a misunderstanding and was eventually impeached but won the case.In Busia county Governor Ojamoong also has had a problem with his deputy. It looks like there is a lot of intrigues which went on between governors and their deputies. We will watch the space for more juicy stories.
