Corruption is fuelling theft of millions in Kenya

Shs 72 m million was stolen by people suspected to be police officers and G4S employees. The money was for weekend Automated Teller Machines which needed to be refilled in the city.Every week newspapers unveil corruption in government  departments and parastatals and this is read by everyone. Also the opulence living of some Kenyans and especially posted on social media such as Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp groups is admired by many people which end up fueling such craving resulting in the stealing of a collosal amount of money. The reason these people were caught is the buying of a new car through cash and with the new currencies, tracing the money to the Shs 72 million stolen. This shows how wealth is destroying people and the country. There is lack of moral fibre, patriotism, love  resulting in selfishness at places of work. Religious institutions should preach about love and patriotism especially fruits of the holy spirit. These negative vices have spread to the youths in Kenya.A youth who has never owned a bicycle taking of owning a V8.This will create a bad impression to the society as well as the youth. This paints a bad picture on the side of the police officers and G4S workers in Kenya. Kenyan jails will be full of people because of lust and get-rich quick people. Children will lack parents and some will drop off from schools.Let Kenyans be contented with what they have.
