Knec 2020 KCPE school registration is unfortunate


Schools have been instructed by Knec to register all 2020 candidates for KCSE, KCPE exams this year in term 3. Knec says that there will be no late registration and issued a warning on passwords.ls this statement coming from a country called Kenya? This is unbelievable.We have students who gave birth and are not yet back in school,there are those who were sick,some may have personal problems and will not be able to do third term exams.How will they be registered ? In Universities where students are matured, are given an retakes or option of  another exam to do, in order to graduate,why these young students being subjected to an advance registration one year before? In Nigeria there is an option of undertaking another exam some months after a student has not performed well.Let the government intervene and stop this registration as it will deny students from advancing to the next level and there is a policy that all students will either go to the campus, teaching or technical college.Also this policy contravenes the right of education on all children or students in Kenya. Let us do away with policies which harm the education standards in Kenya.The late President of South Africa Nelson Mandela said that 'Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” “The power of education extends beyond the development of skills we need for economic success. It can contribute to nation-building and reconciliation is the best weapon someone can use to change the world.But by limiting their registration will the education the students get change their lives?
