Let IEBC clarify deductions
Let IEBC clarify deductions
Kenyans of all walks of life responded to the jobs adverts of IEBC especially the youth and some got the jobs. With the PO's and DPO's ,their jobs were tough. Some did not sleep for three straight days. But the stories circulating about payment and deductions are not good at all. Is it true PO's Gross pay is 26,000 and 30% PAYE= 7,800,NSSF=200 total deduction is 8,000 and their net pay is 18000? While unemployed PO's Gross pay is 26,000,20% PAYE = 5,200,NSSF = 200.Total Deduction is 5,400 and net pay is 20,600.Same as employed DPOs Gross pay is 23,400,30% PAYE = 7,020,NSSF = 200,Total Deduction is 7,220 net pay 16,180.Unemployed DPO's Gross pay is 23,400,20% PAYE = 4,680,NSSF = 200,total deduction is 4,880 net pay 18,520.Clerks Gross pay = 9,000 PAYE = 0000 NSSF = 200
NET PAY= 8,800.Let IEBC clarify this issue and if these deductions are true, then they are too high considering the amount P O's and DPO's will get as net pay. If P O 's and DPO's are over 200000 in Kenya and they are being deducted an average of each 8000 how much money in millions is being deducted? Let someone come to the rescue of people especially the youth who worked for IEBC as 2013 there was no such deductions and this time everyone was required to have an NSSF card. Consider the jobless Kenyans.
