Let Television stations inform,educate and entertain

Televisions are rumoured to have taken over the work of parents. Some parents are bringing up their children while watching T V. Also when a family has a get together, like supper and dinner Television is also on the menu. That is why during before and after the  general elections Televisions played a very important and crucial part of dissemination of information such as advertisements for politicians. There were also political interviews where pundits and analyst were interviewed and gave their opinion on various candidates and issues. But television has veered and backtracked from their core duty of informing, educating and entertaining. Instead of Televisions showing programs,news,education programs, documentaries like road safety,good safe driving,world news like"dunia wiki hii"  etc Televisions are tiring and bombarding viewers with betting,liquor advert and unnecessary same advert for eg 30 times a day  between 7.00 pm and 10.00 pm.The worst is to be asked to download an app called viusasa. This  app contain the best programs these generation would have seen. These program on the app rival Nigerian movies. But the T V station has decided that people must pay to download and view these particular programs individually on viusasa. Even Nigerian movies are shown on Television sometimes twice a day free. Let communication authority of Kenya and Kenya film board,rescue viewers from these exploitation. Let them ask the T V stations to decide either to show the programs on T V or be banned from advertising them or alternatively start a Television station for those programs. These adverts are a pain in the neck, as they run after every 10 minutes on T V. We viewers don't have the privilege of seeing a program to the end anymore. Televisions have turned into advertising media instead of informing,educating,enjoyment and entertaining.
